Participating in a support group where you can share information and feelings with other patients can be an important part of the process of healing and improving your quality of life. The following are some support groups offered through the Center for Health Promotion.

Support Groups
Depression Program for Women
Six-week program to help women learn how thoughts, feelings and behaviors affect one another; improve self-esteem; and learn problem-solving skills.
Third Tuesday or each month, 2 – 3:30 p.m. or
Six-week program on Thursdays, 4 – 5:30 p.m.

Diabetes Support Group
Meet others living with diabetes, share concerns and coping strategies.
First Friday of each month, 10 - 11:30 a.m. or
Second Tuesday of each month, 2 – 3:30 p.m.

Living with Chronic Health Conditions Support Group
Share concerns, success stories and coping strategies for dealing with chronic health conditions. Provides information on how behavior and attitude can promote good health.
Second Wednesday of each month, 2 - 3:30 p.m.

Life Skills Program
Eight-week educational series on self-esteem, setting boundaries, communication skills, conflict resolution and other topics.

The Secrets of Habit Change
10-week program to help individuals cope with lifestyle changes.
