Q. Who can come to the St. Joseph Heritage Urgent Care?
A. We treat people of all ages. At the Urgent Care—Santa Ana, pediatricians are on site to care for your child and family doctors for the rest of the family. At Urgent Care—Orange, we have family doctors that can treat your family.
Q. Do I need to make an appointment?
A. SJHAP members seeking urgent care during normal business hours will be directed to their Primary Care Physician for medical care. SJHAP members have access to Urgent Care during the hours of 5 to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. No appointment is necessary.
Q. What problems do you treat?
A. St. Joseph Heritage Urgent Care can treat many of the most common problems, including colds, coughs, flu, earaches, fever, cuts, bruises, broken bones, sprains, strains, rashes, vomiting, diarrhea and much more.
Q. Where are the Urgent Care centers located?
A. We have two convenient locations in central Orange County, one in Orange and one in Santa Ana.
Q. Do you have laboratory services and X-rays?
A. Yes, we provide them at both Urgent Care locations.
Q. Do you take my insurance?
A. We take many insurance plans, including most HMO and PPO plans. If you have an HMO, you need to be an official patient of St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group or St. Joseph Hospital Affiliated Physicians. We also take Medicare and offer cash discounts.
Q. What is the cash discount?
A. There is a same day cash discount for those who pay with cash or a credit card at the time of service. There may also be a significant discount for any lab work and X-rays that may be needed.
